My name is Anthony Raymond Zane (aka Tony Zane).
I'm live in Chicago, Illinois, but I grew up in a little town called Lansing.
You can usually find me at Lynwood Skate Center in Lynwood, IL on Tuesdays or at Aurora Skate Center in Illinois on Fridays. If I'm not there, then you can bet I'm skating in front of tens of thousands of people for an NBA half-time show, skating on a movie set, or traveling around the country skating at rinks and meeting industry leaders for my sponsor, Vanilla Skate Company.
Skating is my full time career, and sometimes it isn't so easy or glamorous; the hotels aren't always nice, the planes aren't always on time, and the van rides can be brutal. But in the end, it is what I love to do. From the nine year old kid learning how to roller skate on a cement sidewalk, to the highly paid, professional skater, I represent skating in its entirety. I am Tony Zane.
